How to detect failures?

1. Test the original motor harness with the test harness.

  • If the fault code stays, the original motor harness doesn't need to be replaced. After the test is complete, replace the test motor harness with the original harness.

2. Test the controller by switching the original motor harnesses to the controller.

  • Operate slide-out and if the fault code stays the same the controller needs to be replaced.
  • If the fault code changes, the motor needs to be replaced.
  • After the test is complete, return motor harnesses back to the original locations.

How to Replace and Install？

1. Outside the coach, locate and remove the motor retention screw.

2. Inside the coach, remove the seal to access the motor notch. unplug the motor and lift the motor up within the h-column, then pull out of the motor notch once the shaft is clear/visible.

3. Replace the new motor. Reinsert the motor wiring harness, restore the seal and replace the motor fixing screws.

Tips: please note the connection between the Encoder wire and the motor (Proper connection for proper motor operation).
